I have a question regarding my property which I share jointly in title and mortgage with my husband. Can either party apply and obtain a second mortgage, equity line of credit or the like without the knowledge or signature of the other party?

Honestly i don!t see interest rates rising this year. with the economy still very fragil, with many more fore closures comming this summer, gas prices up, food prices up. people are hurting. my gut tells me interest rates are falling or staying about the same. Any increase in the interest rates would crush an already shakey economy

In a divorce, the craziest decision during property settlement would be to remove one spouse from the deed via quit claim deed and still have the spouse remain on the mortgage. I made the foolish decision 3 years ago and I have regretted it ever since.
As part of my alimony, I paid the mortgage for the past 3 years. I at least knew the bills would be current, so i didn't really worry. Now the 3 years are up, and my ex spouse will not pay the mortage. On top of that, the home has been abandoned for the past several months. The pipes froze and the home was flooded with water. Even with Court intervention, which so far has proven useless, I have no legal right whatsoever to handle the matter. But, I am still responsible to pay the mortgage! The home is about $150,000 underwater due to the extensive damage! My ex spouse refuses to cooperate and allow me entry to the home or pursue the insurance company. She promised me during the divorce that she will do anything to destroy me. Trust me friends, do not remove your name from the deed and stay on the mortgage. Don't be a fool like me.

The one that suggested Ireland doesn't know what he's talking about...
Ireland economy is really bad and there is almost impossible to find a job...
I would recommend Norway too... I live here and I love it...
Sure, it's expensive but the wages are also good.
And norwegians speak fluent English... even the children. You can easily talk to even 8-10-year-old...
Lithuania, Bulgaria and France... I wouldn't be so sure about the language and getting a job in there...

I am not going to tell fibs, you have bewildered me here - How can I use my home equity to protect against a former boyfriend who was not married?. I know that you intended well and you manifestly understand what you are speaking about, but I cant say that I get where you are coming from. An article a day keeps the commentaries flowing.

Speak to the default issuers/creditors, after looking up on the net the general concencus is ask.
I had 4 ccjs & 4 defaults from a rough patch when wife at uni.
I've asked & i've pleaded, now i have only 1 ccj & 1 default remaining.
Be prepared to pay or offer to pay something - you messed it up so they aint likely to help if the debt is genuine, the money it saves by becoming prime isn't worth calculating. (",)

He is entitled to half if you are married, which is part of the deal, you come into this kemitraan.Hal no different than a woman who lives with a man and later married - she is entitled to 1 / 2.Fakta you have children stay at home will make a difference, but it can only delay the inevitable. May decide that they can be kept in the family home until they complete their education at which point you could be forced to sell or pay his half.

Sorry I think he will be entitled to half. I did the same - I have inherited a house and then sell and buy a new common name. When we separated I had to give half! .
